I have been here a little over a week now, very ill but I appreciate the patience and kind attitude of the hotel owner and staff. God willing, I'll find a cheaper alternative to paying hotel costs before I run thru my funding but I would not hesitate to stay here longer term were it within my budget. By the way, I myself am in room 25. The smell was AWFUL when I got here, but that is because the people who stayed here previously trashed the room to all manner of issues from what I have seen and gather.

I wish I could give this hotel more stars!! I was pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem! Let me start by saying this hotel is privately owned and the owner takes pride in accommodating her guests! Staff is beyond amazing here, maintenance and housekeeping are visible around the clock and any staff member is willing to help with anything you may need! Location is absolutely beautiful, they have many areas where you can sit outside and look at the breathtaking views. I actually extended our stay here for an extra night because I just couldn't leave!

Love love love this motel!! We're from San Diego CA. So it's always a loooooong trip out there (about 3,000 miles) but well worth it! This was our third time staying here since I have to go to Tennessee every year to visit my father. It's very quiet and very cozy and comfortable to stay at. Mina and her sons are absolutely wonderful and always very accommodating and make us feel welcomed, like we're at home. They're very personable and we consider them like family. There's everything you'll need that's nearby; Walmart, Shoney's, Waffle House, grocery stores, and other restaurants. Our favorite is El Pueblito. They have great Mexican food and great service! Rickard Ridge BBQ that's right on the lake is also wonderful! The motel even opened up their own café and have lots of options to choose from. The coffee is great, and breakfast/lunch options were delicious! We'll always stay at this motel, hands down! And eventually move out that way, fingers crossed! My service dog pup loves it also and loves walking the peaceful trails nearby! Thank you Mina! Love, Lena G ;-) *Idk why the review replaced my previous review from last yr but this is for this yr (7/2025)

Locally owned and operated the Tennessee Motel was a delight to stay at. My wife and I stayed for two nights while we looked at a property in Tennessee not far away and the staff were extremely accommodating and very friendly. A little bit of work was needed on the rooms but nothing major. I would definitely recommend friends and family to stay here and I tried to send enough pictures that you could get a feel for the entire room.

Tennessee Motel was clean, bug free & affordable. What distinguished Tennessee Motel for me was the kindness of the owner & maid. I have sepsis & did then too. Been in the hospital ever since I had to leave om the day before I had to & was admitted. This longstanding illness has even affected my finances such to the point I still owe her like $40. I heard some negative things from some people about the hotel. However, my gut tells me that is probably because she was kind to them to & when they didn't want to pay all they owed or own up to their own behaviour, the first day I got there & inquired about getting a room, the 1st thing she said to me was I look like a good person. That speaks volumes about how her property & kindness probably has been taken advantage of & she is still looking for good people. God bless her, and them. She worked with me, checked on me & prayed for me. As well as the maid giving me kind, sage advice & let me cry & vent with my personal life. I still have to go to UT today for another admission but I do intend to pay her what I owe as soon as Social Security releases my money. In the meantime, I want to say thank you, I so appreciate them AND I can recommend Tennessee Motel for people who will appreciate them, good vibes to you all. Thanks & God bless.

I'm staying here for a couple weeks until I find a home to rent/buy. The owners are super friendly and accommodating. They are constantly doing things to update this place and make it better! They definitely seem to take pride in the hotel. It's very quiet and comfortable. The room is nice, bed is comfortable. I wish there was more water pressure in the shower, but the shower itself is nice and big and doesn't have a bathtub. I would absolutely recommend staying here! It's tucked in a corner near the I-75S on ramp and the rates won't break the bank!
